River Nut

The rivet nut is a fastener used to create a reliable internal thread connection on thin sheet materials such as metal plates and plastic plates. It is made of high-quality carbon steel or alloy steel and has an environmentally friendly color zinc electroplating surface treatment, presenting a bright yellow, blue, and color white luster, and has excellent corrosion resistance and aesthetic appeal. One end of the nut is equipped with a ring-shaped riveting skirt. During installation, the skirt is expanded by a riveting gun to form a firm bite with the sheet. The other end has a standard internal thread hole that can be combined with bolts or screws to achieve a stable connection. It is suitable for scenarios such as sheet metal enclosures, appliance shells, automotive interiors, and office furniture where quick and non-destructive installation of threaded holes is required. The specifications range from M3-M12, meeting various industrial assembly needs.

Product Application

Its original purpose was to address the problems of easy melting, deformation, and thread slippage during traditional welding. 1. It does not require internal thread processing or welding. Instead, it forms a secure internal thread connection through mechanical riveting, making it particularly suitable for scenarios with limited space, high strength requirements, batch assembly, or where thermal processing is not feasible: for example: in automotive manufacturing: seat and interior connection, suspension system, wheel hub installation, battery housing; in mechanical and electrical and household appliances: internal fixation of elevators, refrigeration equipment (air conditioning housing to prevent "yellow water leakage"), switch cabinets, instruments and meters, fitness equipment, communication equipment, etc.; in furniture and decoration: thin plate connection scenarios for metal furniture frames, display cabinets, and curtain wall decorative parts that require aesthetics and no exposed threads.
