Rectangular Nut with Zinc Plated

The zinc-plated rectangular nut is a low-profile fastener with a rectangular or square outline, manufactured from premium carbon steel by cold forging or stamping. A standard metric internal thread is machined at its centre, while electro-galvanising delivers an even, bright silver white finish for basic corrosion resistance.

Unlike conventional hex nuts, its extended flat base creates a broader load-bearing surface. When tightened, pressure spreads evenly to avoid denting or deforming thin plates and soft workpieces. Its slim form fits neatly into narrow elongated grooves, including C-channel steel slots, aluminium profile races, furniture joint grooves and sheet-metal cutouts.

It locks against the slot wall to stop spinning during installation, ideal for single-side mounting scenarios. Covering sizes M3-M10, this nut maintains stable thread precision and dependable clamping performance when assembled with corresponding bolts.
