PEEK Cross Pan Head Screw

These screws are rust-proof, non-conductive, non-magnetic, heat-resistant, and resistant to acids and alkalis, and weigh only about half as much as stainless steel. PEEK screws are made of polyetheretherketone resin. What is PEEK? Simply put, it is a special engineering plastic with performance that is significantly higher than ordinary plastics, and in some aspects, it even outperforms metal. Metal screws rust, conduct electricity, have magnetism, and are heavy, but PEEK screws avoid all these drawbacks.

The head is a pan head with a flat bottom surface and a large pressing area. The cross slot can be tightened using a regular Phillips screwdriver or an electric screwdriver. The height of the pan head is moderate, and there is not much protrusion after installation. The PEEK material is softer than metal, so the torque should not be too high when tightening. The recommended tightening torque is about 50% of the torsional breaking torque. Tightening too tightly can cause the cross slot to become stripped.
