Product Description

When the nut is tightened, the tooth surfaces of the two washers bite each other, forming a locking structure. To loosen the bolt, it is necessary to overcome the resistance caused by the wedging angle between the washers. This resistance is much greater than the elastic force of a regular spring washer, and the washer is in hard contact and does not rely on elasticity, so it will not lose its locking force even with large temperature changes or long-term vibrations. Ordinary spring washers will experience a decrease in elasticity after thermal expansion and contraction, while double layered washers will not.

A pair can be placed between the nut and the workpiece, or between the bolt head and the workpiece. The flat side of the washer is attached to the workpiece and nut, while the toothed side is opposite. After tightening, the teeth of the two washers are embedded with each other, and there will be no scratches on the workpiece side because the flat surface is attached to the workpiece.
