Product Description

The flange is one circle larger than the regular hexagonal bottom surface, with a larger compression area. With the same locking force, the pressure exerted by the flange bolt on the workpiece is smaller, and it will not force the thin plate or soft material out of the pit. The back of the flange can have toothed patterns (we call it toothed flange) or not (flat bottomed flange). After tightening with teeth, the teeth bite onto the surface of the workpiece, providing better anti loosening effect and suitable for vibration environments. Flat bottomed surfaces are suitable for applications that require protection of the workpiece surface, and will not scratch the painted surface or stainless steel panel.

Dakro is a zinc aluminum composite coating with a silver gray appearance, not shiny galvanized. Its rust prevention ability is much stronger than galvanizing - no red rust appears after 500 to 720 hours of salt spray testing. Moreover, Dacromet is a high-temperature baking cured coating, and the processing does not involve acid washing or electroplating, so there is no risk of hydrogen embrittlement. Used on high-strength bolts of grade 10.9, there is no need to worry about hydrogen embrittlement fracture.
