Stainless steel Wing Nuts - Square Wings (commonly known as hand-tightening nut or wing nut) is strictly manufactured according to German standard DIN 315 or Chinese national standard GB/T 62.2. It features square-cornered wing protrusions on both sides of the head, with a precision metric internal thread in the center (typically M3–M20). The material is selected from austenitic stainless steel SUS304 (A2-70) or SUS316 (A4-70), finished with natural passivation or electrolytic polishing, without any plating. Its structural design replaces round wings with square ones, offering wider wing surfaces and more even load distribution, enabling easy tightening or loosening by hand. This nut is a tool-free fastener designed for use with bolts and studs.

Pure manual operation, tool-free quick disassembly and assembly: The square wing provides a large gripping area and force arm, allowing the thumb and index finger to generate sufficient preload torque. It is suitable for frequent adjustment, maintenance of openings, or temporary fixation of parts, significantly reducing assembly and maintenance time.

304/316 stainless steel naturally resistant to corrosion: 304 is suitable for indoor, humid and general industrial environments; 316 contains molybdenum and has stronger resistance to chloride ions and pitting, and can be used in coastal, ship, chemical and food-medicine cleaning environments, remaining rust-free and not contaminating the medium for a long time.

The square wing structure is superior to the round wing: The square wing (DIN 315 German style) fits better with the auxiliary force-bearing surface of the wrench, has greater manual torque, and is less likely to get dented when pressing on plastic, thin plates, and aluminum profiles.The thread accuracy is stable and reusable: After cold heading/stamping, the thread is tapped, and the thread gauge is qualified. It is not prone to slip teeth after multiple disassemblies; the stainless steel has good toughness, and repeated hand-twisting does not break.
