Our factory produces TA2 pure titanium round head hex screws, made of industrial pure titanium TA2, not titanium alloy. The characteristics of pure titanium are different from titanium alloys - its strength is not as high, but it has good plasticity, extremely strong corrosion resistance, good biocompatibility, and is non-magnetic. Round head with hexagonal inside, use a hex wrench to tighten, with a rounded head that does not scratch your hands.
Round head hexagon: The head is round, with a rounded top and a flat bottom. The appearance of a round head is softer than a cylindrical head, and after installation, the head does not protrude high and does not scratch the hands. Use a standard hex wrench to tighten the inner hexagonal hole. The hole depth should be sufficient, and the wrench should be inserted to the bottom without slipping. TA2 material is softer than steel, so do not exceed the recommended torque when tightening. Tightening it too tightly can cause deformation of the hexagonal hole inside.
Surface treatment: Conventional natural color, after turning or cold heading, the surface has a silver gray metallic luster, without electroplating. Pure titanium does not require a coating to prevent rust, its natural color is sufficient. Those who require matte finish can be sandblasted or brushed. For those who require a colorful appearance, anodizing can be done to produce blue, purple, gold, and rainbow colors, but the anodizing layer is very thin and mainly serves a decorative purpose without affecting the corrosion resistance.

Good plasticity and non brittle fracture when tightened: TA2 has a high elongation rate, and if the torque is too high during tightening, it will deform instead of directly breaking. On some devices, screws have to withstand impact or vibration, and brittle fracture is much more dangerous than deformation. The plasticity of TA2 is just right.
40% lighter than stainless steel: For screws of the same specification, TA2 is about 40% lighter than stainless steel. On diving equipment, mountaineering equipment, and portable instruments, one can save a few grams, while dozens can save hundreds of grams. You can feel it on your back.
