There is a fine circle of straight or mesh on the side of the head, which has high friction when held by hand and does not slip. Even if the hand is stained with oil or wearing gloves, it can still be twisted. The rolling pattern is produced by the machine tool, and the texture is clear and uniform, without scratching the hand.

The diameter of the head of a conventional rolling screw is about 1.8 to 2 times the diameter of the thread, while the diameter of the small head is only 1.4 to 1.6 times. For example, for M6 threads, the diameter of the conventional rolling head is about 12mm, and the small head is only 9-10mm. It does not appear abrupt when installed on the product, and multiple screws can be tightened with fingers even when they are close together. Some devices are designed to be compact, and when the large head of the rolling screw is installed, it will touch the adjacent parts, while the small head can avoid them.
