This is a single-sided permanent fastener. It consists of a hollow rivet body and an internal core rod. During installation, the core rod is pulled from one side using a pull riveting gun, causing it to break and fall off in the preset slot. Simultaneously, the tail of the rivet body expands to form a boss, completing the locking. The convex head design provides a larger supporting area, making it suitable for connecting softer or plates with larger diameters. The open structure process is mature and has low costs. The same length can cover a wide range of plate thicknesses. Common material combinations include aluminum/steel, steel/steel, and stainless steel/stainless steel. They can be flexibly selected based on strength and rust prevention requirements. It is widely used in single-sided operation scenarios such as computer cases, car interiors, building facades, and appliance shells, but is not suitable for environments requiring waterproof sealing.

Self-locking structure of the break-pull mandrel is reliable: The break-pull mandrel design enables the mandrel to break precisely under the rated pulling force, with the remaining part forming a mechanical interlock with the deformed rivet body, and it has certain vibration resistance capability.
Open type has low cost and wide adaptability: The open tail structure has a mature manufacturing process and low manufacturing cost. The same length specification can cover a wide range of plate thickness clamping (Grip Range), but it has no barrier effect against water and dust prevention.
