The O-type sealing ring is an elastic rubber ring with a circular cross-section, installed in a groove. It generates contact pressure through pre-compression, blocking the leakage path of fluids or gases. Although its working principle appears simple, it embodies profound wisdom in elasticity mechanics and fluid sealing. As system pressure rises, the medium pressure further drives the sealing ring to tightly adhere to the groove wall, achieving "self-tightening" sealing. The higher the pressure, the better the sealing effect.
