ISO7042 Prevailing Torque Hexagon Nuts (all metal)

The Prevailing Torque Hexagon Nuts (all metal) by Jinghong Fasteners comply with the international standard ISO 7042. They are made of medium carbon steel (8/10 grade) and generate elastic locking force through the deformation of the internal thread pressure points at the top or specific parts of the nut. The thickness of the nut is increased by 20%-30% compared to the standard nut, providing a larger locking contact surface. The surface is electroplated with environmentally friendly blue-white zinc, featuring both corrosion resistance and industrial aesthetics. The specifications range from M5 to M36 and are suitable for heavy machinery, automobiles, and steel structure connections in scenarios with high vibration, high temperature, or frequent disassembly.

ISO7042 fully metal threaded locking thick nut adopts the threaded compression point deformation technology. It forms an elastic locking area on the top of the nut, enabling stable anti-loosening without the need for nylon inserts. The thickened structure increases the thread engagement length, resulting in higher connection strength. It can be reused multiple times, has a wide temperature range, and is suitable for high-vibration, high-temperature and heavy-load working conditions.
