Jinghong Factory specializes in producing stainless steel Hexagonal Cylinder Head Shoulder Screw, which is formed by cold heading 304 stainless steel. The head is an inner hexagonal cylindrical head, and the rod has a precision step (smooth rod) with threads located at the end. This type of screw is used on parts that require rotation or positioning. The step part is fitted with a gap between the fitting hole, and after tightening, the screw can rotate and also serve as a positioning tool. The length and diameter of the steps can be customized according to the drawings, and regular sizes are readily available in stock.
Screw the plug into a component, secure the threaded part tightly, and expose the steps. The other part to be moved is placed on the step, because the step is smooth, round, and accurate in size. After being placed on it, it can be rotated or pushed and pulled axially, but it will not shake. For example, the limit block in the mold can be rotated by one angle by using a screw as the pivot. For example, the rotating pressure plate on the fixture, which is placed on the step and screwed onto the workbench, can still rotate.
The head is a standard cylindrical head with an inner hexagonal hole on top. Use an Allen wrench to tighten. The diameter of the cylindrical head is larger than that of the step, and after tightening, the head presses down on the workpiece to provide a limiting effect. The height of the head is the same as a standard hex screw, making it easy to find tools.

Hexagonal drive, tightened: The depth of the hexagonal hole in the head is sufficient, and it can be inserted to the bottom with a standard hex wrench without slipping when applying torque. The threaded part is processed by rolling, and the tooth shape is full. The locking torque can be tightened in place, so you don't have to worry about rounding the screw head.
The head is concentric with the steps and will not sway: after cold heading and car repair, the clamping is completed in one go, and the centerline of the head, step, and thread are concentric. When the moving parts are put on and rotated, the end face does not jump or fluctuate. The concentricity is not good, and when it rotates, it feels like the wheels have not been dynamically balanced.
