Product Description

The head is cylindrical, with an inner hexagonal hole on top. Unlike outer hexagonal bolts, which are tightened by gripping from the side with a wrench, inner hexagonal bolts are tightened by inserting a hexagonal wrench from above. The advantage of inner hexagonal bolts is that their heads are shorter, taking up less space. In some locations on the equipment, there are parts blocking the way, making it impossible for an outer hexagonal wrench to reach in. An inner hexagonal wrench can be inserted from above to tighten the bolt. The diameter of the cylindrical head is smaller than that of the disc head, providing a moderate clamping area, ensuring that the head does not sink into the workpiece after tightening.

The flat washer is placed on the screw rod, closely adjacent to the screw head. After tightening, the flat washer adheres to the surface of the workpiece, distributing the locking force so that no pits are pressed into the thin plate. The spring washer is sandwiched between the screw head and the flat washer. After being compressed, it generates elastic force. When the equipment vibrates, the elastic force pushes against the screw head, making it difficult for the nut to back out.
