GB73 Slotted Set Screws with Flat Point

The GB/T 73 Slotted Set Screws with Flat Point (commonly known as one-sided slotted flat-head machine screws or headless flat-end locking nuts) are manufactured strictly in accordance with the national standard GB/T 73-2017 (equivalent to ISO 4766). This product is made of high-quality carbon steel (14H/22H grade) or stainless steel (A2/A4) materials. The surface can be treated with blackening, galvanization or natural passivation. Its structural feature is a headless full-thread design, with a one-sided slot at the top for screwdriver drive, and a flat end at the end. The thread specifications cover M1.2 to M12, with a length range of 2mm to 60mm.

Product Feature

The end of the screw is designed as a flat end, and when tightened, it will only cause a slight indentation on the surface of the workpiece, unlike the cone-ended locking screws which may damage the base material. It is suitable for assembly positions that require repeated adjustment and have requirements for the appearance integrity of the workpiece. The head has a standard one-sided slot structure, and it can be easily disassembled with a regular one-sided screwdriver, without the need for special tools. It is suitable for use in narrow installation spaces and small, light-load equipment. The overall headless full-thread structure ensures that there is no protrusion after being fully screwed into the screw hole, and it will not interfere with the movement of surrounding parts. The overall appearance is smooth and clean. The material and surface treatment options are diverse. The carbon steel blackening and galvanized models have high cost-effectiveness and can meet the routine rust prevention requirements.
