Our factory specializes in producing Flat Head Half Hex Rivet Nuts. The head of the product is flat, and the body is semi-hexagonal. It is made of high-quality carbon steel and surface-treated with blue-white zinc plating. All operations are performed on the front side of the plate, and the riveting is completed with a single pull of the riveting gun. It can be directly installed on assembled boxes, sealed pipes, and workpieces that are inconvenient to turn over. There is no need to go to the back to hold the nut or weld.
The head is flat with a slight countersunk angle. After installation, the head is basically flush with or slightly lower than the surface of the board. It looks better than a purely flat head and is easier to process than a fully countersunk head - the board does not need to be countersunk, and a straight hole can be punched for installation.
Half of the rivet body is hexagonal, and a corresponding hexagonal hole needs to be punched in the plate during installation. After the hexagonal rivet body is inserted into the hexagonal hole, the rivet nut will not rotate when tightening the screw. The ordinary round rivet nut tends to slip and spin when tightening the screw, but the half-hexagonal one does not. Its torsional resistance is twice that of the cylindrical rivet nut.

Half hexagonal anti-rotation design, prevents screws from rotating: Half of the rivet body is hexagonal, which fits tightly into the hexagonal hole of the plate. After installation, when tightening the screws, the rivet nut won't rotate inside the hole. Regular round rivet nuts often rotate freely when tightening screws, but the half hexagonal ones don't.
The flat head with a small countersunk angle ensures a flat and aesthetically pleasing appearance after installation: the flat head with a small countersunk angle aligns with the surface of the board after installation, without protruding. The use of this rivet nut on the chassis panel results in a clean appearance and is not scratchy to the touch. Moreover, it can be installed directly without expanding the countersunk hole, saving a process.
