The DIN986 carbon steel Grade 4 white zinc-plated Prevailing Torque Type Hexagon Domed Cap Nuts with Nonmetallic Insert is a fastener that combines sealing and anti-loosening functions. This product is made of Grade 4 carbon steel, with a zinc plating on the surface and a non-metallic nylon ring embedded inside. The deformation friction generates a lasting anti-loosening torque.

Jinghong Fasteners offer two versions: black cover and white cover. The cover structure effectively prevents dust and water ingress, meeting the requirements for outdoor use. The product strictly complies with the DIN986 specification, with specifications ranging from M5 to M12. It is widely used in electrical equipment, construction machinery, and other applications that require sealing and protection.

1. Structural Design: Dual Function Integration

The upper part is a closed cover-shaped structure, which can cover the end of the bolt to prevent dust and dirt. It is also dust-proof and stain-resistant. Inside, there are nylon inserts (usually white or blue nylon rings). When the bolt is screwed in, the nylon rings exert radial pressure, increasing friction and achieving mechanical anti-loosening.

2. Surface Treatment: 

White Zinc Corrosion ResistanceThe coating is white zinc, presenting a bright silver appearance. It offers moderate corrosion resistance and can usually pass a 24-48 hour neutral salt spray test.
