Product Description

It was indeed used on horse-drawn carriages in the past, to secure the wooden frame. Nowadays, it is most widely used in steel structure connections, wood structure connections, and outdoor facility installations. The round head protrudes outside, preventing it from scratching hands, while the square neck is stuck on the back, preventing it from rotating.

The head is semi-spherical, resembling a mushroom cap. The head lacks drive designs such as cross slots or hexagonal sockets, which can serve a certain anti-theft function during practical connections.

No hydrogen embrittlement, high strength is also acceptable: The coating process of Dacromet does not involve acid pickling and electroplating, so there is no risk of hydrogen embrittlement. High-strength carriage bolts of grade 8.8 and 10.9 can be treated with Dacromet without any problem.

Round head without scratching or water accumulation: The head is semi-spherical with no sharp edges or corners. After installation, it feels smooth to the touch and won't scratch passersby or catch on things. On rainy days, water doesn't accumulate on the round head surface, and water droplets flow away along the curved surface, reducing the source of rust.

The large semi-circular head has a large bearing surface and does not sink into wood: The head of the large semi-circular type has a large diameter and thin thickness, so it will not sink into wood when pressed against it. When used in wooden structures and wooden plank roads, it is more stable than small-head bolts.
