Product Description

The carriage bolt is a bolt with a circular head and a square under the neck. We call that square neck, its function is to hold it in place. When threading the bolt through the workpiece hole, the square neck is just clamped in the pre punched square hole, and the bolt will not rotate when tightening the nut. One person can lock it, without the need to use a wrench to fix it on the other end.

The head is flat and round, like a mushroom cap. After installation, the round head is exposed outside the workpiece, smooth and rounded. It does not cut the hand when touched, and the clothes will not hang. More suitable for outdoor applications than hexagonal or countersunk heads, it does not accumulate water and is less prone to rusting.
